The goal of WEFA is to provide educational assistance to native Sub-Saharan Africans.  It is particularly focused on providing assistance to individuals working or living in or near African National Parks or to those interested in pursuing wildlife-related studies.

The current fellowship and scholarship opportunities being offered are open to any Zambian national who is affiliated with or related to an individual in the Zambian Department of National Parks & Wildlife (DNPW).  While preference will be given to individuals affiliated with or related to the Zambian DNPW, other Zambian nationals interested in programs related to Wildlife Conservation may also apply.

The 2025 Fellowship application and 2025 Secondary School Scholarship application are now available. The deadline for these applications is January 1, 2025.
